Everything is delicious! You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. I wanted the posole but I got the caldo de res it was delicious!! The chorizo breakfast plate is delicious also. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food in Mesa . They open up at 800 am not 1000am.

The owner is always present and helps out when it gets busy. Interacts with everyone and he and his staff are all.suoer kind and efficient. Warm, cozy, mexican atmosphere for a quick bite. All is clean, prices are fair and food is delicious!
My first time at El Grullo was today. They had both soups I wanted beef chicken stew, and I also grabbed a California burrito for my husband. Once we got home and had lunch, omg, it was absolutely delicious! The customer service was friendly, and the food was amazing. Cant wait to go back! Thank you!

Still waiting on Super Oscars to reopen so I am on the hunt for a great breakfast burrito. Today I tried El Grullo and their Super Breakfast Burrito. It was so tasty!! Nicely seasoned eggs, potatoes, cheese, ham, bacon AND chorizo. Will definitely go back!
The food here is delicious. Its authentic and never disappoints. The service is great, they stay busy and its fast paced but when its steady its a nice atmosphere . They also let you customize the plates a lot which is nice for the picky eaters.
